Dropson EMI 4000 is a maintenance-free solution for protecting water from limescale.

Recommended applications
The Dropson EMI device is ideal for use in households and technical systems where protection against limescale formation is needed. It is particularly suitable for:
- treatment for drinking water and hot utility water (HWU),
- Protection of sanitary equipment – faucets, aerators, showerheads
- Reduction of biofilm formation – prevention of bacterial growth, e.g., Legionella
- Home appliances – dishwashers, washing machines, coffee makers
- Lower detergent consumption and softer laundry
- Irrigation systems, recirculation, water tanks
- Pools – exclusively for backflow (requires a special model)
- Boilers and heat exchangers – in secondary circuits
- Solar water heating systems – in the secondary circuit
Inappropriate applications
Dropson EMI is not intended for certain types of devices or specific conditions. Do not use it in:
- Steam generators
- Primary circuits of heating systems
- Steam irons and ironing systems
- Removing limescale stains from solid surfaces (tiles, metal surfaces – applicable only for flowing water)
- automatic car washes.
Important notice
- When using a different type of water than municipal (e.g., well water, drilled water, technical water), it is necessary to conduct a water analysis to choose the appropriate type of equipment.
- Before the Dropson EMI device can be installed mechanical pre-filter that captures floating impurities. This prevents damage to sensitive components such as aerators, fittings, faucets, water heaters, showers, and other devices.
